Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no names, no phone numbers, no e-mail addresses, no passwords, no ads, no trackers.

What is stored

• Repair files you choose to save: what you typed into the drop-off sheet, your quotes and your pick-up ticks. The file is reached by a private link; we store only a one-way hash of that link’s key, so we cannot find a file for you or give a lost link back. You can delete a file at any time with its Delete button. Files not opened for 400 days are deleted automatically.
• Abuse counters: to limit how many files one address can create, we keep a daily counter against a salted one-way hash of your network address (never the address itself). Counters are deleted after two days.
• Server logs kept by the hosting server for security and error-fixing, for a limited time.

What is not stored

The compare, repair-or-replace and find tools store nothing: the numbers travel in the page address and are worked out on the spot. Searches built on the Find page open on other sites, under their own privacy terms.

Please never type a password, passcode or PIN anywhere on this site. The forms try to refuse text that looks like one, but they cannot catch every way of writing it, so please don’t rely on that.

Cookies

One security cookie is set when you use a form that saves (it stops other sites from submitting forms in your name). There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
